Hi Everyone,
Sorry it's been a while since I have sent a mass email. I am still alive I promise! Time has just been flying by so fast! Every time I blink it is monday again, starting a new week. Yesterday I completed 13 months! I cant believe I only have 5 months left! It's really surreal. I am now on my 14th companion haha, I am training her too. Sister Skabelund is really great and I don't feel like I have to train her at all. I have been in Providence RI for 6 weeks now. It is so beautiful here, I came right when the fall colors were the brightest. We are teaching this family who is so sweet. They started to loose interest for a while but then we helped them move and they saw what our church was really about. They said they could see a light in us that no one else has. It is such an exciting time to be a missionary. In the year I have been out, I have seen the work progress so much! I have seen the wave of new sisters come in, the prophet and apostles talk about hastening the work, and the wards getting more involved with missionary work. The idea of missionaries knocking on doors all day is finally changing with members and they are better understanding their role. We don't just have full time missionaries preaching the gospel, we have every member to preach the gospel. I can't imagine how many more people will be brought in if every member was sharing. I have seen the difference it has made and it is amazing. :D Well I hope all is well with everyone. Have a good thanksgiving!
